The full graphic design course consists of six modules: Photoshop Beginners and Advanced, InDesign Beginners and Advanced, and Illustrator Beginners and Advanced.

Upon completion of this graphic design course, students can pursue various job opportunities in the field of graphic design. Some potential job roles include:

  1. Graphic Designer: Create visual concepts using computer software or by hand to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers. Graphic designers develop the overall layout and production design for advertisements, brochures, magazines, and corporate reports.

  2. Digital Designer: Focus on creating digital content for web platforms, social media, mobile apps, and digital advertising campaigns. Digital designers often have expertise in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design.

Length, duration, and study load


This course lasts for six months. You attend 1 lesson per week. Each module consists of 4 lessons of 2 hours each. Throughout the course, you will work on several larger assignments, such as designing posters and collages. Therefore, it is advisable to reserve sufficient time outside of the lessons to complete the homework assignments. Consider allocating approximately 3-5 hours per week.

Entry Level and goal

No prior education is required, and experience with the programs or graphic design is not obligatory either. Thanks to personal guidance, students quickly discover their own talents! The only thing needed is a basic knowledge of computer use, such as mastering ‘copy/paste’.

After successfully completing the course, there are various options for further professional development. Deepen your skills with a specialization or take part the conceptdevelopment course. Choose for both deepening and broadening your expertise.

Adobe software

Upon enrollment in the course, you will need to have access to the Adobe programs. However, don’t worry if you don’t already have them. Art and the City offers the opportunity to purchase these programs at a discounted rate exclusively for students enrolled in the course.
